Prices mentioned are the lowest available in Egypt and may vary by store and availability.
1OPPO Reno16 5G: The Best Overall
If you are looking for a well-rounded phone under 40,000 EGP, the OPPO Reno16 5G offers an excellent balance. It comes with a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 1800 nits, making it comfortable for daily use and content viewing. It also features three 50 MP rear cameras with OIS optical stabilization and a 50 MP front camera.
The 6700 mAh battery is among the largest in this category and supports 80W fast charging. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage ensures smooth performance for daily tasks and moderate gaming.
Its drawbacks include no support for external storage cards, and the weight reaches 193 g for some colors. Its price starts at 38,024 EGP on Amazon.eg, which is close to the budget ceiling but worth considering for those who want a huge battery and multiple cameras.
2POCO X8 Pro: Strong Performance and Ultra-Fast Charging
The POCO X8 Pro stands out with a 1.5K AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, and brightness up to 3500 nits, one of the best screens in this category. It runs on a Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset with up to 12 GB RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, delivering strong performance in games and heavy use.
Its 6500 mAh battery supports 100W fast charging and reverse charging up to 27W. The 50 MP main camera has OIS optical stabilization, but the ultrawide camera is only 8 MP, a clear weak point. Its weight of 201.47 g may also feel heavy to some users.
Its price starts at 36,776 EGP on Amazon.eg. This phone suits those who prefer high performance, fast charging, and a high-resolution screen, at the cost of a weaker ultrawide camera and heavier weight.
3Honor 600: Large Battery and High-Resolution Main Camera
The Honor 600 offers a 200 MP main camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and OIS optical stabilization, one of the highest resolutions in this category. The 6.57-inch display has a 120Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 8000 nits, with high dust and water resistance rated IP68, IP69, and IP69K.
Its 7000 mAh battery supports 80W fast wired charging and 27W wired reverse charging. The next-gen Snapdragon 7 chipset delivers good performance but is not flagship-class, making it suitable for daily use rather than very heavy gaming.
Drawbacks include no information on storage capacity, operating system, or networks on the product page, so it is advisable to verify with the store before buying. The price starts at 30,699 EGP at 2B, which is good value for the battery, camera, and durability.
4OPPO Reno16 F 5G: Huge Battery at a Lower Price
The OPPO Reno16 F 5G comes with a large 7000 mAh battery (6850 mAh rated) and 80W fast charging, making it an excellent choice for those who want long battery life. The 6.57-inch AMOLED display has a 120Hz refresh rate, and the 50 MP main rear camera has OIS optical stabilization, plus a 50 MP telephoto camera.
It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset with 8 or 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Its drawbacks include no eSIM support and no memory card support, and it weighs up to 197 g.
Its price starts at 28,000 EGP on Amazon.eg, cheaper than the regular Reno16 with a slightly larger battery, though it offers a less powerful processor. It suits those who prefer a large battery and stabilized camera at a reasonable price.
5Huawei nova 15 Max: Exceptional Battery and Large Screen
If battery life is your top priority, the Huawei nova 15 Max offers a massive 8500 mAh battery, the largest in this list. The 6.84-inch OLED display has a 120Hz refresh rate, providing an enjoyable viewing experience. It supports NFC for contactless payments and comes with 256 GB internal storage.
However, charging at only 40W may be relatively slow for a battery of this size. The rear camera is 50 MP + 2 MP, and the front camera is 8 MP, which are modest specs compared to competitors. It also weighs about 232 g, which may feel heavy during prolonged use.
There is no information on water and dust resistance or memory card support. Its price starts at 20,399 EGP at B.TECH, making it the cheapest among the big-battery phones, but it compromises on camera and charging.
6Infinix Hot 70: Budget Option with a Large Battery
The Infinix Hot 70 is the cheapest phone in this list, starting at 10,699 EGP at 2B. It offers a 6000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging and reverse charging up to 10W, a 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and IP65 dust and water resistance.
However, the display resolution is only HD+ (720×1576), the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor is mid-range, and it does not support 5G networks. The rear camera is 50 MP with f/1.85 aperture, while the front camera is 8 MP with fixed focus. RAM reaches up to 8 GB with extended memory, and storage is 128 or 256 GB.
This phone suits those who want a basic phone with long battery life and a large screen at the lowest cost, accepting a lower-resolution display and average performance. Do not expect professional photography or heavy gaming.
