Tipster Smart Pikachu has shared new details about the Huawei Mate X8 foldable, as reported by Gizmochina on October 30, 2026. According to the leak, the phone will use the Kirin 9050 Pro chipset, the same chip found in the Mate 90 Pro Max and Mate 90 RS.
The Mate X8 is described as an 8-inch foldable with a 50MP main camera featuring ultra-high dynamic range. It is also tipped to carry a 50MP RYYB periscope telephoto camera with a red maple leaf original-color lens, along with support for telephoto macro photography and slow-motion recording.
Older leaks point to a 6.5-inch cover display, an 8.15-inch inner screen and a battery above 6,000mAh, though these details remain unconfirmed. Huawei has not announced launch dates or prices for any of the rumored devices.
The tipster also says Huawei is preparing a second-generation MatePad Mini with 5G and a high-refresh-rate display, plus a foldable PC and new headphones with no specs named. Several flagship and collector's edition products are reportedly planned for November, and since last year's Mate X7 debuted on November 26, a similar window for the Mate X8 is possible.
There is no information yet on availability or pricing in Egypt, Saudi Arabia or the UAE. MobiArabia will add local store prices once the device is officially announced for the region.
