Huawei opened pre-orders for the Pura 90 Plus in China on October 23, 2026, and published the first official teaser for the device. Pre-orders began at 10:08 through Huawei's VMall online store, Experience Stores and other authorized retailers, with exclusive benefits for early buyers.
The phone will officially launch the following week, with shipments expected before November 8. The teaser shows a Sunset Purple gradient finish that blends purple and orange, the same color also available on the Pura 90 Pro Max.
It keeps the series' inverted triangle rear camera module in the upper-right corner. Unlike the flat-edged Pura 90, Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro Max, the Plus model has a curved frame and a rounded back panel similar to the Pura 80 Pro.
Huawei has not revealed the hardware, so specs remain unconfirmed. The device is reportedly codenamed Lucia and is expected to sit between the standard Pura 90 and the Pura 90 Pro. Price is unknown; for reference the Pura 90 Pro starts at 5,499 yuan and the standard Pura 90 at 4,699 yuan. Huawei is expected to confirm full specs and pricing at next week's launch event.
