Weibo leaks point to a new Huawei Starlight series, with the first phone reportedly a wide-screen flagship expected as early as November.

Notebookcheck reported on 29 October 2026 that Huawei is rumored to launch a new phone series called Starlight soon, with the first device reportedly marketed as the Huawei Starlight O1 Pro. The site credits leakers Digital Chat Station and Fixed Focus Digital on Weibo for the information.

The phone is said to have a 6.39-inch screen with a notably wide aspect ratio, similar to the 5:3 display of the Pura X View. It reportedly measures 144 x 87 mm, which would make it about 6 mm shorter and 15 mm wider than the Apple iPhone 18 Pro.

It is expected to be a flagship with 12 GB to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB to 1 TB of storage, powered by a flagship HiSilicon Kirin 9 series chip. The report says it uses a new camera module design, so it is unlikely to be just a rebranded Pura X View.

A launch is expected as early as November, with no further specification details available. For comparison only, the report notes the Pura X View has a 6,500-nit 120 Hz AMOLED panel, a 7,000 mAh battery with 50-watt wireless charging, and a triple camera with a 200 MP main sensor, 8 MP ultra-wide and 50 MP periscope telephoto with 3.7x optical zoom. No official announcement, price or availability details were given.

There is no confirmation yet that the phone will be sold in Egypt, Saudi Arabia or the UAE, and no local store prices are available. MobiArabia will add store prices once it arrives officially in the region.
