Apple announced that the first orders of its foldable iPhone Duo reached customers in Australia and New Zealand on Friday, October 23, 2026. Sales and deliveries then move on to Asia, the Middle East, Europe and finally North America.
The iPhone Duo has a book-style design with a 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch inner display with a minimal crease down the middle. Pricing starts at $1,999.
Apple said a limited number of units will be available for walk-in purchases at its stores in select countries on launch day, and it expects stock to sell out fast due to what it called extraordinary demand. Those countries include the United States, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Italy (select stores), Mexico, Macao (launch day only), Germany, the Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye and the UK.
In France, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates, the phone will not be sold for walk-in purchase; customers there need a reservation for Apple Store pickup. Apple advises checking its website on Saturday, October 24 for pickup reservations, and some stores are opening early at 8:00 a.m. local time.
Shipping estimates for online orders slipped to January 25 shortly after pre-orders opened. Reports said Apple's decision to start pre-orders before having enough inventory drew criticism over tight supply.
The iPhone Duo is not sold in Egypt or the Gulf yet, and no local store prices have been announced. MobiArabia will add prices once it arrives in the region.
