OnePlus officially announced on Weibo that the OnePlus 16 will launch in China on October 12, 2026.

OnePlus has officially announced on its Weibo account that the OnePlus 16 will launch in China on October 12, 2026.
The phone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, which has a GPU featuring Matrix Cores. OnePlus had previously confirmed a 200MP 1/1.4-inch main camera, a 50MP 3x IMX882 telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide shooter.
The display offers a 185Hz refresh rate, and the device includes custom touch and Wi-Fi chips aimed at gaming. Camera features include an XPAN-style mode and a Master Mode.
The OnePlus 16 will not be available in the US or Europe, since OnePlus no longer operates in those markets. Availability in India remains uncertain, with reports suggesting the main flagship might not launch there at all.
The phone features a glowing LED light array on the back, expected to be exclusive to one color variant. The array includes a small pulsating X for notification indication, alongside a large glowing '16' and other typography. No official price has been announced yet.
