OPPO has officially launched the A7 Pro Max 5G, the world's first phone with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, featuring a 10,000mAh battery and a 6.78-inch flexible AMOLED display.

OPPO has officially launched the A7 Pro Max 5G, an A-series phone with a 10,000mAh battery. It is the world's first phone to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, built on a 4nm process.

The phone features a 6.78-inch flexible AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution (2772 x 1272 pixels), a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 10-bit color, and up to 1,800 nits peak brightness. The display also supports up to 330Hz touch sampling rate in select gaming scenarios.

For photography, there is a 50MP front camera and a rear setup with a 50MP main camera with OIS plus a 2MP monochrome sensor. Both front and rear cameras can record video at up to 1080p.

The 10,000mAh Glacier Battery uses OPPO's spherical silicon-carbon technology and supports 80W SUPERVOOC, 80W UFCS, and 27W reverse charging. Other features include an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers with up to 300% volume, NFC, an IR blaster, Wi-Fi 5, and IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings. It runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.

The phone comes in Wave Rider, Orange Glow, and Mountain Black colors. In China, it is priced at CNY 2,199 (~$325) for 8GB+128GB, CNY 2,699 (~$400) for 12GB+256GB, and CNY 2,999 (~$445) for 12GB+512GB. It is currently available in China, and OPPO has launched it in select global markets at EUR 599 in Austria for 6GB+256GB and MYR 2,299 in Malaysia for 8GB+256GB. India launch details are not yet announced.
