Redmi has launched a refreshed version of the Redmi Note 17 Pro in China. The changes are limited to colors and memory configurations, with the main specifications staying the same.
The refreshed model comes in three colors: Sand Orange, Energetic Green, and Black. The first two are new, while Black carries over from the original. The original White, Sky Blue, and Nebula Purple options are no longer part of the lineup.
New memory configurations include 6GB+256GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. The original model offered 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 8GB+512GB, and 12GB+256GB.
Prices start at 1,599 yuan (about $239) for both the 6GB+256GB and 8GB+128GB models, while the 8GB+256GB version costs 1,699 yuan (about $254). The original 8GB+128GB model also launched at 1,599 yuan.
The phone keeps the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor and a 9,000mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery with 67W wired charging. The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main camera. The display is a 6.83-inch flat OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and 3,500 nits peak brightness, plus 3,840Hz PWM dimming and DC-like dimming, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It also carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings and TÜV SÜD's 72-hour waterproof certification.
The global Redmi Note 17 Pro launched in late August with an 8,340mAh battery and a starting price of $400.
There is no official word yet on whether this refreshed edition will be sold in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, or the UAE, and no local prices have been announced. MobiArabia will add store prices for Egypt and the Gulf once it arrives.
