Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy F08 and Galaxy M08 entry-level smartphones. The two phones are essentially the same as the Galaxy A08 but are designed for two different retail channels in India.

The Galaxy F08 will be available through Flipkart, while the Galaxy M08 is likely to be sold through Amazon. Samsung has not revealed prices yet, but they are expected to go on sale for INR 16,999 (about $177).

Both phones have a 6.7-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution (1,600 x 720 pixels) and a 90Hz refresh rate. They feature a 50MP primary rear camera with an F1.8 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front-facing camera. Front and rear cameras can record 1080p 30fps videos.

They are powered by the MediaTek Helio G99+ processor, which supports faster LPDDR5X RAM and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. Both phones have 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and a microSD card slot.

They run Android 17 (One UI 9.0) out of the box and will get six major Android OS updates (up to Android 23) and security patches for up to six years. Both are powered by a 6,000mAh battery and support 25W fast charging. They feature a fingerprint reader, 4G LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port. The Galaxy F08 comes in dark blue, while the Galaxy M08 comes in silver.
