TECNO has officially launched the SPARK 50s 5G in India, entering the sub-Rs. 20,000 5G smartphone market amid rising component and memory costs.
The phone is priced at Rs. 19,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model and Rs. 22,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model. It will be sold exclusively through offline retail stores across India starting October 20, 2026.
The SPARK 50s 5G features 4x4 MIMO antenna technology, which is claimed to provide up to 82% faster download speeds, along with UPS 3.0 for up to twice as fast UPI transactions in congested locations. A proprietary FreeLink feature enables point-to-point voice calls, text messaging, and image sharing over distances up to 1.5 km without cellular or Wi-Fi under line-of-sight conditions.
It comes in Burgundy Red and Breeze Blue color variants with IP64 Pro dust/water resistance and MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability. The display is a 6.78-inch HD+ (720 x 1576 pixels) screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 560 nits brightness. It runs on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6400 6nm processor with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 6GB/8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage expandable up to 2TB via microSD.
The device has a 50MP rear camera with f/1.85 aperture and LED flash, and an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It packs a 6500mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging and runs Android 16 with HiOS 16. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C. It measures 167.9 x 79.3 x 8.18mm and weighs 210g.
