SamMobile reported a leak about the camera specifications of Samsung's Galaxy A58, citing GalaxyClub. According to the report, the phone is expected to launch in 2027, after the Galaxy S27 series and alongside the Galaxy A38.
The leak indicates that the camera setup on the Galaxy A58 will be unchanged from the Galaxy A57: a 12MP front camera, a 50MP main rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro shooter.
It remains unclear whether Samsung will use bigger or newer sensors, but a major camera upgrade seems unlikely. Rising memory chip prices and cost-cutting across smartphone brands are cited as reasons better camera hardware may not arrive.
Samsung started working on the Galaxy A58 hardware two months before the report and recently began software development. The phone is expected to run Android 17 and One UI 9.5 out of the box. Samsung has not officially announced the phone, and no price, availability, or launch region was stated.
For buyers in Egypt and the Gulf: the current Galaxy A57 is available now at 26,290 EGP on Amazon.eg, 1,418 SAR on Amazon.sa, and 1,265 AED at Sharaf DG. If you need a phone now, the A57 is an option, but waiting until 2027 may not bring a major camera upgrade based on the leaks.
