This is based on leaks and reports and hasn't been confirmed by the maker. Details may change at launch.

New reports suggest the Galaxy S27 and S27+ will keep a 12MP selfie camera, while the Pro and Ultra models are expected to feature a 16MP front camera.

According to SamMobile, the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ will not receive the 16MP selfie camera that is said to be exclusive to the Galaxy S27 Ultra. This follows earlier reports that suggested the entire Galaxy S27 series would get an upgraded front camera.

GalaxyClub claims that the Galaxy S27 and S27+ will retain the 12MP autofocus front-facing camera found on the Galaxy S26 series. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra are expected to sport a new 16MP selfie camera.

It is still unclear whether the 16MP selfie camera uses a larger sensor or a square format similar to the iPhone 17 and iPhone 18 series. Samsung has not made any official announcement about the Galaxy S27 series, including its launch date or price.

Previous reports indicate that the Galaxy S27 and S27+ will have a 50MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra are reportedly set to feature a 200MP primary rear camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera. The Pro model is expected to include a 12MP telephoto camera with 3x or 3.5x optical zoom, while the Ultra is said to pack a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.

For buyers in Egypt and the Gulf, the current Galaxy S26 is available at 48,399 EGP on Amazon.eg, 2,749 SAR on Amazon.sa, and 2,699 AED on Amazon.ae. Since the Galaxy S27 series has not been officially announced, those who need a phone now may consider the Galaxy S26, while those who can wait might want to follow the leaks until an official launch.
