A new report claims Samsung's Galaxy S27 Ultra will exclusively use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, while the Exynos 2700 is expected in the other Galaxy S27 models.
- Galaxy S27 Ultra reportedly to use Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 exclusively.
- Exynos 2700 expected in Galaxy S27, S27+, and S27 Pro in most Europe, Asia, and Africa markets.
- US models expected to use Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series chip.
- Exynos 2700 expected to be a 2nm processor.
- Galaxy S27 series expected in Q1 2027, with a new camera plateau on Ultra and Pro.
According to a report by Lanzuk, the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra will not use the Exynos 2700 at all and will instead rely exclusively on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip globally.
The Exynos 2700 is still expected to power the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, and Galaxy S27 Pro, though not in every market. It is expected to arrive in most markets across Europe, Asia, and Africa, while the US is said to get the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series chip instead.
The Exynos 2700 has not been announced yet, but it is expected to be a 2nm processor, the second built on Samsung's 2nm process. It is also expected to bring improved power efficiency and a general performance upgrade.
The Galaxy S27 series is expected to arrive in Q1 2027, most likely in January or February. The Galaxy S27 Ultra and Galaxy S27 Pro are said to debut a new camera plateau on the back, while the other two phones will retain basically the same design as their predecessors.
No price or availability details for Egypt, Saudi Arabia, or the UAE were mentioned in the report.
