A SamMobile report, last updated on October 30, 2026, covers the Galaxy Z Fold 9 Ultra, expected to arrive in 2027 as the successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Samsung has not announced the device officially, and everything reported about it comes from leaks and expectations.

The phone is reportedly set to use an ultra-tall form factor with an Advanced Armor Aluminum frame, Gorilla Glass on the front and back, IP68 dust and water resistance, and a thickness of 9mm or less. A side-mounted fingerprint reader and a rectangular camera bar are also expected.

Expected displays include a 6.5-inch cover screen and an 8-inch inner foldable panel, both Dynamic AMOLED 2X with peak brightness of 3,000 nits or higher and HDR10+ support. The rear setup is tipped to include a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide with autofocus, and a 50MP telephoto with OIS, plus two 12MP selfie cameras, one on each screen.

The chip is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 for Galaxy, a 2nm processor, paired with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR6 RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 5.0 storage. Reports point to a 5,800mAh battery with 60W wired and 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging with built-in magnets, running Android 18 with One UI 10 and up to seven years of updates.

The launch is expected in July 2027 alongside the standard Galaxy Z Fold 9, with sales starting in late July or early August. A US price of $2,100 or higher is expected due to an anticipated 2027 memory chip shortage; this is not an official price. The report does not mention availability in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, or the UAE.
