Honor launches Magic9 Pro Max in China with ARRI imaging partnership

Honor officially launched the Magic9 Pro Max in China on September 28, 2026. The phone is built around Honor's imaging partnership with ARRI, and includes an ARRI CINEMA mode, the ARRI LogC3 curve, 10-bit colour and 14 preset ARRI Looks.
The device has dual 200MP cameras, including a 200MP main camera, working with Honor's own H1 imaging chip. ARRI CINEMA mode can record up to 4K at 60fps.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. The silicon-carbon battery is rated at 8,600mAh (8,800mAh typical) with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. A four-microphone directional recording system and stereo speakers are also included.
In China, the phone comes in Shadow Black, Glacier Silver and Moss Green, with configurations from 12GB+256GB up to 16GB+1TB. Sales started in China on September 28 from RMB 6,499.
Honor has not yet announced availability for Egypt or the Gulf.
