What is 5G?

5G is the fifth generation of wireless cellular technology, offering faster internet speeds and lower latency than previous generations.

5G is the latest mobile network technology, succeeding 4G. It uses different frequency bands: some provide very high speeds but shorter range, while others offer broader coverage at lower speeds. The goal is faster data with less delay.

In daily use, 5G lets you download apps and games quickly, stream high-quality video without buffering, and make clearer video calls. It also helps in online gaming where quick response matters. However, actual speed depends on network coverage in your area.

When buying a phone, make sure it supports the 5G bands used in your country. Some phones only support certain types of 5G. Also, having 5G doesn't guarantee blazing speed if coverage is weak. Check that the phone supports common bands in Egypt and the Gulf.
