Samsung reportedly has not finalized the Galaxy S27 Pro launch date, with unfinished component lists for the Pro and Ultra models cited as the reason.
- Samsung has not set the Galaxy S27 Pro launch date
- February is the latest option, January is possible
- Pro and Ultra component lists are not final
- Base and Plus models are described as nearly finished
- UFS 5.0 and LPDDR6 are among the undecided factors
9to5Google reported on Oct 19, 2026 that Samsung has not yet finalized the launch date for the Galaxy S27 Pro, according to a leak from Lanzuk on Naver.
The report says Samsung is considering a February launch at the latest, with January also a possibility. The delay is reportedly because the company has not settled the full component list for the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra.
The base and Plus models are described as essentially finished, if the leak is reliable. A possible upgrade to UFS 5.0 storage is cited as the biggest contributor to the undecided timing, with LPDDR6 also noted as a costly addition.
The article says there is no concrete timing and Samsung has yet to set the date. It also says a last-minute change as big as swapping phone models, like last year, is highly unlikely.
There is no price or availability information for Egypt, Saudi Arabia or the UAE, and the series is not sold there yet. MobiArabia will add local store prices when it arrives.
