A new leak reported by 9to5Google and based on an X post lists the Galaxy Z Fold 9 alongside the Galaxy Z Slide and Galaxy Z TriFold 2 in Samsung's expected 2027 foldable lineup.

9to5Google has reported on a leak from Anthony on X, dated October 14, 2026, about Samsung's expected 2027 foldable lineup, which includes a Galaxy Z Fold 9.

According to the leak, the lineup lists six devices: the Galaxy Z Slide, Galaxy Z TriFold 2, Galaxy Z Fold 9 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 9 Pro, Galaxy Z Fold 9 and Galaxy Z Flip 9. It is reportedly described as Samsung's biggest foldable lineup ever, with battery, thickness and weight improvements across the board.

The Galaxy Z TriFold 2 is said to kick off the 2027 releases, possibly close to the Galaxy S27 series. The Galaxy Z Fold 9 Pro is described as a surprising addition, and it is unknown whether it resembles the Galaxy Z Fold 8 or the taller Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.

The Galaxy Z Slide is a slideable phone. Samsung has shown a vertically extending design concept at MWC and CES, but a concept differs from a finished product. The report notes the leak reveals little beyond model names, and none of it can be confirmed beyond rumor. No price, launch date or availability details for the Galaxy Z Fold 9 were given.

For buyers in Egypt and the Gulf, the Galaxy Z Fold 9 is not available yet and has no local prices. The current Galaxy Z Fold8 is listed in Saudi Arabia at 6,999 SAR at Jarir, so anyone wanting a foldable now can consider the model on shelves, while those waiting for the next generation should treat the leaks with caution until Samsung makes an official announcement. MobiArabia will add store prices when the phone arrives.
