Honor has announced that its Honor Win 2 series phones and the Honor Win Tablet will launch on October 21 at the Honor Win Gaming Universe Carnival. The company says the Win 2 series will go on sale on the same day as its launch, while pre-orders for the tablet will begin during the event itself.
Honor is calling the Win 2 the 'top-tier gaming device of the year,' but it hasn't shared the specifications yet. The company has already revealed what the new phones look like: an official image shows a horizontal camera module on the back with two sensors, next to a cooling fan and an LED module surrounded by RGB lighting. The back cover also features a cloud-like pattern.
As for the Honor Win Tablet, it will be the first tablet in the Win lineup to include a built-in cooling fan. According to leaks, it may run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and feature an 8.4-inch OLED screen with a 240Hz refresh rate. However, Honor hasn't confirmed these tablet specifications, so they should be treated as unofficial until the October 21 event.
Honor still needs to confirm the chipsets, battery capacities, prices, and configurations for both the Honor Win 2 series and the Honor Win Tablet. The Win products have so far been limited to China, and Honor hasn't said whether either new product will reach other markets.
For buyers in Egypt and the Gulf, the Honor Win and Win RT were never officially sold in the region, and there are no local prices yet. If you're interested in a gaming-focused phone, you may want to wait for the official announcement to see if these devices will arrive in the region, or consider current alternatives. We'll add store prices when they become available.
