Huawei Pura 100 tipped with 6.6-inch screen, widescreen Pro models

Leaks suggest Huawei's upcoming Pura 100 series may keep a 6.6-inch display on the standard model while the Pro and Pro Max move to widescreen panels of around 6.39 inches.

Gizmochina reported on October 26, 2026 that Huawei is preparing its next imaging flagship for the first half of 2027, apparently the Pura 100 lineup. The outlet credited tipster Digital Chat Station, who shared the update after examining an engineering sample.

According to the leak, the standard Pura 100 prototype keeps a mid-size 6.6-inch screen. For comparison, the standard Pura 90 shipped with a larger 6.8-inch panel.

The Pura 100 Pro and Pro Max are reportedly moving to a widescreen panel measuring around 6.39 inches, and the two higher models are described as all-around widescreen imaging phones rather than taller candybar designs. The Pura 90 Pro came with a 6.6-inch display and the Pro Max with a 6.9-inch panel, while the Pura X View widescreen phone launched in September this year with a 6.39-inch screen.

It is not yet clear whether the Pro and Pro Max will inherit that same display. Whether the screen changes come alongside the camera upgrades floated in earlier rumors, such as a dual 200-megapixel setup, stronger zoom hardware and DSLR-style external lens accessories, also remains to be seen.
