Notebookcheck published a report on October 26, 2026, citing 91mobiles and The Mac Observer about leaks surrounding the Motorola Edge 70 Neo, described as an affordable mid-range successor to the Edge 60 Neo.

According to the leaks, the first images of the device appeared in August. It is expected to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset with four Cortex-A720 performance cores and four Cortex-A520 efficiency cores.

The main camera is reportedly a 50 MP unit with a Sony LYT-710 sensor, contradicting earlier claims of a 200 MP camera based on the inscription on the leaked camera module. A 32 MP selfie camera is reportedly planned, paired with only 2 MP secondary sensors, which would be a step down from the Edge 60 Neo's 13 MP ultrawide and 10 MP telephoto setup.

The battery is said to grow to 7,000 mAh from 5,000 mAh, with charging up to 45 watts over USB-C. The device is reportedly 8.49 mm thick and weighs 204 grams, and the chassis is said to carry only an IP64 rating, meaning it would no longer be waterproof like its predecessor. It is also reportedly offered with 6 GB to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB to 256 GB of storage, described as notable downgrades.

No official announcement, price, or availability details have been reported. The phone is not sold in Egypt or the Gulf yet, and MobiArabia will add store prices when it arrives.
