Gizmochina reported on October 16, 2026 that the Redmi Turbo 6 and Redmi Turbo 6 Max have appeared in the IMEI database, based on model numbers shared by Ximitime. Such listings often hint at an approaching launch, but they are not official confirmations from the company.
According to the leak, the Redmi Turbo 6 carries the internal codename Sofia and is also tagged Q10, with model numbers 2703BPC40G, 2703BRT40I, 2703BPC40I, and M407CF. It is expected to be sold outside China as the POCO X9 Pro. The Redmi Turbo 6 Max goes by the codename denver, or Q10U, with model numbers 27011RT78I, 27011PC78I, and 27011PC78G, and could launch internationally as the POCO X9 Pro Max.
The leak suggests the phones could launch as early as January to March 2027, a similar timeframe to the Turbo 5 series which went on sale in January. Xiaomi has not confirmed the names, chips, or dates, so they remain unconfirmed.
Previously, the Redmi Turbo 5 used the Dimensity 8500-Ultra, while the Redmi Turbo 5 Max was the first phone to ship with the Dimensity 9500s. Xiaomi priced the Turbo 5 at 2,299 yuan and the Turbo 5 Max at 2,499 yuan. Earlier leaks suggest the Redmi Turbo 6 Max has a 7-inch screen and a 10,000mAh battery, with a render surfacing in July, and its processor could be the Dimensity 9500s.
There is no information yet on availability or pricing for Egypt, Saudi Arabia, or the UAE. Since these phones have not launched in the region, local store prices will be added when they arrive. Until then, deciding whether to wait for the new models or buy the current one depends on your needs and urgency.
