The rumoured Poco X8s has appeared on Singapore's IMDA platform after earlier Geekbench and EEC listings, hinting at a launch soon.

A new Poco phone reportedly called the Poco X8s has surfaced again, this time on Singapore's IMDA certification platform. According to a Gizmochina report published on October 13, 2026, the device carries model number 2609CPC5FG and may expand the existing X8 series.

The certification listings did not reveal any hardware details. The phone had previously appeared on Europe's EEC and IECEE platforms, also without specifications. In August, it was reportedly seen on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, 12GB of RAM and Android 16.

An XimiTime report says the 2609CPC5FG device will be marketed as the Poco X8s. That name suggests it could sit between the standard Poco X8 and the Pro models, though its final position in the lineup is not known. Poco has not officially acknowledged the device.

The phone is said to be aimed at select markets including the European Economic Area, Turkey, Russia and China, with no planned launch in India. The Chinese variant is said to carry model number M583CF and is likely to use Redmi branding at home.

There is no confirmed price or launch date for Egypt, Saudi Arabia or the UAE, and the phone is not sold in the region yet. MobiArabia will add local store prices when it arrives, so anyone deciding now can either wait for official details or buy a current X8 model based on their needs today.
